We offer a full range of medical and surgical care for pets. In addition, we offer a wide range of routine procedures such as preventative care, immediate medical concerns, pharmacy, animal products and end of life services.

General Wellness and Medical Care –Routine wellness and healthcare including routine vaccinations, heartworm testing and inhouse bloodwork for annual exams. We offer Certified Tech appointments as well as virtual/zoom points of contact for follow up exams. Modern cloud based record keeping with client access to vaccination records. Internet based phone system for ease of contact with text, email and voice as well as online appointment scheduling.

Anesthesia- Inhalation Anesthesia to provide safe surgical procedures and we provide post-surgical take home pain medication if needed.

Dental Exams and Procedures- Ultrasonic dental machine and polisher, a much gentler way to clean teeth and ensure your pets dental health.

General Surgery- We offer elective surgeries such as spays and neuters, tumor removal with biopsies and Gastro Intestinal Surgeries. Our modern surgical suite offers full surgical monitoring O2, EKG, Body Temp, Oxygen Saturation, Blood Pressure.

Orthopedic Surgeries- Cruciate ligament repairs, medial luxating patella repair, bone pin and plating.

Radiography—We have a state-of-the-art digital x-ray system that is clear and efficient, allowing us to quickly diagnose and treat various diseases.  We can also share these images making x-ray consultations easily accomplished.

Eye Care and Tonography- Eye care includes an examination, pressure check, fundic exams and many ophthalmic surgeries. McKenna Veterinary Service has a tonography pen, an electronic device can be used to check pressures in your pets’ eyes, As your pet ages we can monitor these pressures and treat if necessary.

In-house Laboratory- We currently have an Idexx Laboratory System.  We can do most testing, including simple urinalysis, heartworm, thyroid testing, progesterone level, complete blood count, Comprehensive Chemistry with electrolytes and phenobarbital levels within 30 minutes.  This reduces waiting and allows for faster treatment.  It is a great asset to our geriatric health plans.
